proxhr was founded as a response to the current industry trade-off that never should have existed: choosing between moving fast and keeping sensitive data protected. For years, the industry standard of outsourced workforce data has allowed the unnecessary proliferation of PII across third-party databases. So we decided to take up the mantle and rebel against this model. We built a middleware layer that proves efficiency and privacy can live together. By using a Privacy-by-Design architecture, we've made it possible to verify workforce data without actually storing it. This gives employers their transparency back and ensures employees don't have to trade their data dignity for a paycheck. We aren't just tweaking the process; we're removing the need for third-party PII storage entirely.

When Jacob isn't coding, he enjoys playing the guitar, adventuring outdoors, and connecting with others. With three decades in the HR technology sector, Donny is a seasoned leader dedicated to solving employer challenges through integrity-driven solutions. For the last ten years, he has championed data privacy across business automation platforms. Now, as a co-founder of proxhr, Donny has partnered with top innovators to build a workforce data solution centered on privacy, automation, and simplicity. He ensures data privacy is a fundamental principle of the technology, not just a feature. Outside of work, Donny is an avid guitar nerd and loves traveling with family. This blend of professional expertise and personal passion defines his unique leadership style.
